Indian drums! And not just the tabla, but all the different ones too! Because my sense of pulse & rhythm is not strong. And indian music certainly has a very rich heritage & culture.
Someone told me about konnakol which is a system of using spoken syllables to master polyrhythms. I'm keen to get into that at some point!
Not to mention that I love the food too

For me it would be alto saxophone. My second instrument was flute through my schooling years however I admired the saxophone players in band. I love the mellow yet powerful sound of the instrument. I enjoy listening to jazz but don't play it myself and I think the sax and jazz is heaven! However, in saying all this my first instrument always has and will be the piano.

With voice and piano as my primary instruments, I would love to add the violin or cello. I'm drawn to the beautiful legato lines that both create and believe that I would be a better singer and pianist if I could play one of these stringed instruments. Sadly, as a child I attempted to try the violin but my mother could not get past the discordant sounds that came out on day one of practice so she made me return the loaned instrument from the music department at my school thus ending any future playing the violin. :)
