edalene A friend recommended that piece to me too.  It was in a box of two-piano books I received. Will have to give it a try some time!

Bruno Andrade de Britto I just played the first movement. OMG, I thought I could never memorise it! I found this movement to be mentally and psychologically really challenging!

I have always envisioned my dream piece to be either Liszt's Mephisto Waltz no.1 or Sonata in B minor.  I am not quite sure why these pieces have struck me as the ultimatum. My favorite pianist, after all, is Rachmaninoff, and though I would be initially inclined to declare Chopin the second favorite, Scriabin has become an increasingly alluring composer.  I nonetheless imagine learning these two pieces of Liszt sometime down the road when I have aged and advanced my technique further.

    Romance Larghetto - Chopin/Balakirev.

    Le Cygne - Saint Saens/Godowsky

Auf Dem Wasser Zu Singen - Schubert/Liszt

    Ballade No. 4 - Chopin

I only have an Associate Diploma in Performance so these 3 pieces are a little beyond me but I'm going to keep trying!!

I just started learning Alkan's Aesop's feast. Whilst it may not be my 'dream' piece, it would definitely be my dream to develop the technique to really master it!
