I need help please: I unfortunately need to cancel my participation in the Münster Festival, and sent an email in time (30 days before it starts) but no reaction.

I want to make sure I get my money refunded...

I can't find a thread for Münster in the forum or any other information on how to cancel. I replied to the booking confirmation (events@tonebase and Christian Kim)

Hi, I've had Tonebase for a while, but just trying to get back into using it more regularly. I notice that on my 'Home' screen there is something called a 'Practice Plan', which sounds useful, except when I view mine it's suggesting Prokofiev Sonata no 6 op 82 which is an advanced course. My level has been set at Level 5, & I definitely consider myself intermediate, so this is inappropriate for me. Can I re-set it to get a more appropriate plan?

Hi Amanda, this is something we are looking into, especially as we are planning to launch a new "Practice Plan" in the coming new year. Thank you for your patience!

Hi Dominic, i just signed up for lifetime plan but stuggling to understand wher to navigate as a complete beginner for Piano. I completed the quiz but most of the question asked did not have option for complete beginner with no knowledge of musical terms etc. Any advice on where to start

Hello! I'm on a trial, and I'd like to know: how often is new content – specifically "Learn from the Legends"-style advanced repertoire – released in the course library?

This is what most interests me about Tonebase, but I'm not sure that the company is still producing much new content in this area. If  or any users could share their thoughts, that would be great. Thanks!

“Learn from the Legends” is a pretty special, high-lift series for us, so it doesn’t drop on a fixed cadence but we are actively working on our next projects!

That said, we are still releasing new lessons and artist content regularly, and we’ve got more advanced repertoire-focused stuff coming up soon!

Hi, signed up for the year and have started "the School of Virtuosity". In the introduction and in the first lesson the instructor mentions a "workbook" for the course. I can't find it! Is it just the series of books by Alberto Jonas or is there an actual workbook? What is the best way to find workbooks?

    Cheers

    Tim

Lots of questions and almost no answers? Has this forum been  abandoned by the team??  😟

Hi Tim, and anyone that is curious about this question:
The workbooks being referenced are the series of books by Alberto Jonas, that you can find for free on Imslp.org
      https://imslp.org/wiki/Master_School_of_Piano_Playing_and_Virtuosity_(Jonás%2C_Alberto)

      A huge and wonderful resource!

I'd like to learn to play without looking at my hands.  Is there a video or past livestream about that topic?  Thanks, Jenny

The closest that I've seen in that regard are the video lessons by Ben Laude on sight-reading. If you're reading then you can't look at your hands without disrupting the process anyway. And you get to improve your sight-reading with those lessons, which is a nice bonus!

I'll go with a question of my own. Why is there no piano tech subforum? I know we want to focus on the playing aspect, but I believe there comes a point where it is essential to learn more about the technical aspects of the instrument in order to achieve a more satisfying musical end product. Maybe the idea of a tech subforum was already considered and aborted for some reason? In any case I believe it would be a good addition to the forums.
