Wrong note?

In the Tonebase score of Beethoven’sSonata no.8, Op.13, 1st movt., bar 248, is that supposed to be an A-flat on the last beat of the bar in the R.H?

The last quarter note (2nd half of beat 2) should be an A natural.

There’s a small error in the numbering of this edition that’s likely to cause confusion. This bar should be 246. The two endings before the Tempo I (labeled bar 135 in the tonebase score instead of 133) should both be labeled bars 131–132. (The second ending shouldn’t get new bar numbers by convention.) All bars from this second ending are offset by 2, so until this gets fixed be sure to subtract 2 from bars 133 and onward to get the actual bar number to compare with other editions.

    • Albert thanks for that. I didn’t check the bar numbers out that closely.
