May the Fourth be with you… and with your practice.

Join Dominic for the kickoff of our new 4-week piano challenge, Unfinished Business — a challenge for anyone with a piece they’ve always meant to finish, revive, or finally begin.

Over four weeks we’ll work together to start something meaningful, keep it moving, and share it with the community.

In this kickoff livestream, we’ll talk about:

  • How the challenge works
  • Choosing your “unfinished business” piece
  • Setting a realistic musical mission for four weeks
  • How small weekly goals can lead to real breakthroughs
  • How community accountability can help you stay with it

Whether it’s a neglected Chopin, a Bach Prelude you abandoned years ago, or something brand new calling your name… this is your moment to return.

A new challenge begins May 4. Let’s bring unfinished music back to life.

I have been working on The Tempest Sonata for about 6 months and have played through the whole piece but need to tackle the musicality and the tempo. I think will try to get the first movement more solid for this project

What a risky and dangerous project! 😆 But I hope to emerge with something from my ocean of unfinished pieces. They are starting to call me like sirens, each from its own island. Which one will prevail?

I would choose the piece you like most right now. 😎

Hello Dominic, my choice for the piano is the Bach C minor Fugue, BWV 847.

There’s a conversation on the flute platform about the way forward, as nothing has happened since Dr Sarah cancelled her last session about a month ago. This discussion there has been running now for several weeks. I sent you an email but not sure if you received it.

May we please have a discussion about this ‘Unfinished Business’.
    All the Best. Roy

I love this type of challenge. I restarted practicing my own composition from 1987 just some weeks ago.  I want to bring it up on a level that I can perform it on a stage. Thanks Dominik!!!
