    Hello Tonebase,

I am sharing my piece ' Just a Whisper'. Studying the piano is a lifelong adventure and we who play are so lucky to have the opportunity to enhance our skills. I never planned to compose nor ever thought I could. Thanks for listening to my piece:) rada neal

Hello everyone! In my school time in 1984 when I was 15 years old I had some lessons in composition. And I still like one piece from that time - Scherzo. https://youtu.be/n7Eikl_VQC0?si=cNjt74NbUTHoi_Oi

Vidhya Bashyam Hi Vidhya! It was an experiment. I want to find out if I can make a piece out of an short idea or theme. Took me some time but can be done.
4 years later I composed another Scherzo with the same

5/8 measure for an exam. Composing is not my favorite subject, because it takes far too long for me. 🙋‍♀️

I write music mostly for my students. I consider their abilities at the time and can usually come up with something they enjoy.

This is a piece I wrote a few years ago, Battle of the Winds. I thought up the story line in the video but hired a professional artist to create the cartoon.

Last week I wrote my first 8-hand piece for four of my 10 year old students.

It's called Patina, but I don''t have a good recording of it, just my computer playing it so the sound quality is bad. Hopefully, I can send something of better quality before the 20th.

Here's our very first experiment trying to write a piece with FOUR friends together.  Since we live so far apart, we shared our ideas on WhatsApp and then pieced together the parts.  There's more to do to polish and add to the piece, but none of us had the time at the moment, LOL!

Thank you, dear Antonella for all your insights.  This is just the beginning!
