Ask Asiya: tonebase Office Hours

I wonder how to play fast double third passages ( ex. Chopin op.25 no.6). Any easier, best way to do that? Please let me know as many ways as possible.  Appreciate it.

Hi Asiya, first of all, thank you for making all the wonderful lessons on tonebase, I am hoping to see a lot more lessons from you in 2022!  In the design of your concert program, do you start with the whole set of Transcendental etudes then follow onto the less challenging sets?  Do you always perform them in the same order? 

Specifically in the first page of Waldesrauschen, how do you keep the right hand quiet enough to bring in the left hand melody?  While  the right hand is playing the murmuring figuration, do we still need to bring in pulses on the beat (in the right hand) or keep it completely subdued?

In Chasse Neige, how does one navigate the big right hand jumps and still make the broken chord in the lower register sound seamless and uninterrupted? Thank you. 

I'm sure this varies from person to person, but what would be a good Liszt etude to begin with? I'm at about the level of learning the 3rd movement of Beethoven's op. 27 no. 2, and I do dislike double notes (3rds more than 6ths, and I'm not counting octaves in this), so no Feux Follets!

How do you prepare for a certain date, a performance or a recording? What would you say about certain strategic steps? It would be great to take part in your experience. Thanks so much!
