In this class, we take a look at passages of double notes in order talk about how to play legato, and why we need to use the technique of "sliding" the fingers!

There is an interesting tonebase lesson that is relevant to this and I found worthwhile.  He briefly mentions Hanon exercises and I'm curious Dominic about your recommendations for how to practice/improve technique in specific areas such as double-notes.  I always avoided Hanon and just liked to play "real" pieces, but maybe there is value in repetitive exercises?
