Hi all! I decided not to work on one of the pieces, but to work on C- harmonic scale with the groupings or rhythms. This is a 4-note grouping - one long note and 3 fast notes. I was practicing and then recorded the scale at quarter note = 150 BPM. Then I show how I practiced, by isolating each group. I note that my LH lags behind a bit.
At the end, my final scale doesn't seem as good as the beginning? 😅 My goal is to play it at 160 BPM comfortably.
I chose C- because I'm working on Chopin Etude 25/12 which is in C-.

This is the Burgmuller that I am working on. Just the first half. I thought I will record it on the weekend when I can. Any feedbacks are most welcome.

Hi, It took me awhile to find this chat. I didn't know what to work on so I started with Czerny. I have never played Czerny before, but I enjoyed this. I have been playing the piano since I was nine. I am teaching young ones. It's really good to be a part of this intensive .

Here is my second Czerny 61, I was not so concerned about speed. More about smoothing it out.

This is my Burgmuller. I'm trying to have a relaxed hand when I play. What do you think? Does it look and sound like it's relaxed or tense?
