  • I will like to participate! I don't know wet! I will like to challenge my nervousness by participating to this concert.  I finally find myself a piano teacher, here in Montréal at the school of music Vincent D'Indy. It will be help me I suppose to play better and be less nervous when I play for people. I think to play the Beethoven Six variations that you taught us to play in September 2021. Since that time I practice these variations. I will see until then!

I feel even nervous just posting... but I would like to sign up to play in the September community concert. I will play Schubert's D664, Sonata in A major, 3rd movement. I played the first two movements during the Schubert community challenge earlier this year and this will be a good opportunity to put finish off the sonata with a live performance. I just hope my nerves don't get in the way!

Dominic Cheli - I'm sorry, we won't be able to play this Saturday. Thurmond's academic schedule is very busy for this year (first year of high school level work) and we haven't had enough time to sit together at the piano with this piece. We'll plan to support the many performers this Saturday and then be prepared for next time. Thank you!

  • A few more details, timing to correct and practice, but Yihan wants to perform Chopin Ballade no. 3 again, a better more polished version.  Thanks for all the Tonebase masterclasses and excellent instructions.  It was not just for this repertoire... Dominic Cheli , if he could, would Yihan be able to perform early, he has to leave by 1:30 pm. https://youtu.be/tDwF-rOY2VU

  • Dominic Will there be a sound-check before the concert? I am trying a setup with some microphones, so hope they will work well on zoom.
