Jackie's practice diary for Mozart D minor concerto
I decided to record where I am at with the first movement today in the hope that it will be much better next week. I just made a lot of changes and brought it up to the tempo that I like tonight, but it's very messy. Also, there are a lot of issues because I'm trying to change things about the voicing, which is doing my head in at this point. I was also trying out a few different techniques which didn't always work out for me. Nonetheless, here it is, my first recording of my part for the whole movement, at tempo.

I really enjoyed this and hope you'll post again. I love the detailed practice notes you gave yourself--I'm terrible about listening to recordings of myself and critiquing them, even though I know it would help me be a better player.
I like where you're headed with the balance between the two hands. There are many beautiful ways to interpret Mozart, but I personally prefer a full, masculine sound from the bass in Mozart.
