Dominic Cheli, is it possible to speak more slowly n in your workshop?

Or are English subtitles a solution? Dutch translation would be even nicer, but I’m already glad with an English text.

  • Marianne Justo Sure I can speak slower, definitely! We can start working on subtitles, but for the time being, I will be careful to speak more clearly!

    Thanks for letting me know!

Dominic Cheli  Thanks for a really valuable presentation! So thought provoking and stimulating - really appreciated the subtleties you presented re layering, sustain and projection, agogic accents, ways of interpreting hairpins and realising Schubert’s intentions in his score of that gorgeous slow movement. So well organised and clearly presented.  Made me want to rush to the piano to try it all out  :-) esp the Schubert. It’s never sat well to wash over all those staccato marks with pedal. I really like the way you show us how to actively engage with the score.
