    Hi Dominic,

I just joined Tonebase a few days ago and was lucky enough to be able to watch the community concert held this past Saturday.  I was blown away by all the performances and wanted to give back so thought I'd join in on the next community concert.  The piece I'd like to play is the Prelude #3 in C# major from Bach's Well Tempered Clavier, book 1.  It's a short piece, but I'm not used to playing in front of others so would like to use this opportunity to work on that.  They say the only way to overcome performance anxiety is to keep doing it, but if there are any resources or advice that anyone can share on dealing with performance anxiety, that would be of tremendous help to me.

I’d like to play in the next concert! I could do excerpts from the Grieg piano concerto’s first movement, including the cadenza.

  • I'd like to give it another go!  Best way to shake the nerves is to keep doing it.

If suitable, I'll try one of my own cover arrangements, and/or Rachmaninoff Prelude Op. 23 No. 4 in D major if I am ready by the date!

Hi Dominic! As Daniel, I'd like to play in the next concert, of course if it is possible since we have already participated in the first concert.  The piece:

Rachmaninov Prelude op. 3 nº 2 in C-sharp Minor (between 4 and 5 min).

My god, despite I did logged in 2 days ago, yet, I still missed out this thread. I felt so terrible. Anyhow, will prepare 2 short pieces of Scarlatti. (Exact which k, will decide later) 😵💫

**guess I will be playing two short pieces of Debussy.

Hi Domenic, thank you so much all that you have done this community. I am so grateful for having this support. I would like to participate to play for the community concert even though I have such a terrible stage fright. I can’t even play for my friend. Maybe it is time for me give a try again. Thank you! 🙏I am thinking to play Brahms op 117. No 2 or Chopin Norturne.

  • I'd like to play depending on when it is. If it's in April or later, I might be able to. Not sure what I would play yet - maybe Schubert Impromptu Op. 90 No. 4.

Woohoo!! Dominic Cheli Thanks so much for raising our interest in tonebase's second-ever community piano concert! Your repertoire all looks fantastic - Angelina Tan I love that nocturne so much! And, Hannahong Brahms Op. 117 is a real sumptuous feast for the soul. As  requests roll in, Dominic and I will work on putting together the program! Please continue to feel free to make suggestions if your desires have changed since you last posted!

Hilda , I'm now thinking of playing the 1st Prelude & Fugue from the WTC bk1 as I can play them as a set.   So I'll hold off on the 3rd Prelude until the Fugue is also ready, hopefully later in the year.  It will get there eventually.

(Supplementing an earlier post) — As an alternative, I could also play Rameau’s Gavotte et Six Doubles / Gavotte and Variations from his Suite in A minor.

Hello! Victor here. Thank you for the opportunity. I would love to play in September. I’ll play Chopin’s Fantaisie in f minor, Op. 49. Hope it’s not too long (about 14 mins).
