Re Chopin pedaling, e.g., Op 72, No 1, bar 2, et al - pedal is released on C in my scores (Paderewski & Cortot), but then a bit of a jump to the low E. This release, followed by a long extension, is repeated elsewhere. Should there be a slight break or a bit of a pedal to connect the C to the E? Thank you so much!

Hi, I'm on the 14-day trial. I love your videos, but am having trouble finding workbooks that correspond to a lot of them. For example the "10 scale challenge." In the first video set there are etudes by Clementi and Mozart that correspond to the C major scale. Do I have to scan the videos to try these out. For me, I'm new enough to playing that it's not one and done with these. It would be very helpful to have the corresponding scores in a workbook. Am I missing something?
Thanks.

Hello all!
I have been a self learner for more than 1 year. I started with adult piano adventures 1 book from faber and now at 2nd book. I am combining it with daily hanon, streaborg and recently bürgmüller. I am always worried that I am doing something not right and thats why I subscribed to tonebase. The problem is I don't know how to incorporate it to my practice, some of the content here seems like more advanced.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated

Hi Dominic!
This is Mantra — I’m a premium lifetime member on tonebase piano, and I just want to say I absolutely love the platform. The depth of content and artistic quality here really inspires me every day.
I had a few repertoire requests I’d love to see covered more deeply (if they aren’t already in the works):
Bach Partita No. 1 (Full) – A detailed walkthrough, movement by movement.
Chopin Polonaise Op. 53 – Technique + interpretation help, especially with voicing and stamina.
Respighi – Notturno – Would love guidance on tone, phrasing, and rubato.
Scarlatti K141 / L422 – Focus on fingering, energy, and hand coordination (Argerich style!).
Liszt/Paganini Étude No. 6 – How to shape the structure and control the fireworks.
Beethoven – Waldstein Sonata – Especially help with the first movement’s pacing and voicing.
If any of these are in progress or possible in the future, I’d be thrilled. Thanks again for everything you and the team are doing — tonebase has become a big part of my musical life!
Warm regards,
Mantra
