I know bluetooth pedals can be used to turn pages, but I'm curious if you have to use specific apps for those. Can I bring that functionality to any kind of PDF reader?

    • Rob Brogan I use a really good pedal bought on Amazon with Piascore app and it works really well. Working as an operatic collaborative pianist it is really useful for stage rehearsals.

What hardware/software do you recommend to help with page turning when playing with the Ipad?

    • Raymond Gornik I use Donner - half the price of AirTurn and so far has worked well for me.

  • There is a great piece of software available on ipads called KeyScore.  You load a pdf file and it listens to it and turns pages as you are playing--amazing technology--works great.

    • Allen Levine Dowloaded the app after the live presentation yesterday and I love it. It just has to analyze a new piece before you play the first time, and then you are ready to go!  Thank you!

    • Nicole Bianco I'm surprised that more people are not using this app.  I don't like using the pedal since I use both feet for pedaling on the piano.

I would appreciate some tips on how to make ipad video recordings which include internal audio from a digital piano.  I discovered by accident that I can do this by  using ipad camera and at the same time connecting my digital piano to my ipad using an iRig which is actually meant to be used with an electric guitar.  It works ok but I’m sure there must be a simpler or more conventional way to do it!

  • Hi Dominic

I have tried the Henle Library App and also Tomplay. What is your opinion of these?

    Thanks
