Classical pianist/composer as a teacher

Hi all,

Beginner here. I haven't played any musical instrument in my life. I don't understand music, but I want to learn/play. I just bought a new piano and got Tonebase and Simply Piano. But, I want to learn from someone who can improve my techniques, tone, speed, and accuracy. Masterclasses and online tutorials are a good start, but I think that won't track/improve my progress.

I started looking for local pianists but didn't feel confident about their techniques. So looking for exceptional classical pianists like Seymour Bernstein for one-on-one lessons (I know chances are quite low). I am okay with a once-a-month lesson from such a personality. Money wise I am okay. Let me know.

  • My teacher was Seymour’s student once and he teaches at San Francisco Conservatory continuation education . If you’re interested, I can make an intro.
