Hello everyone! Here my contribution to the Beethoven Birthday Challenge. In spite of the years on my shoulders I was so naive 🙄that thought to learn more than one movement of this Sonata. Anyway, here is the first movement and consequently one of my New Year's Resolutions 😂: to play it better (clean, even, more articulated...) and, of course, the entire Sonata. To be honest, I found it very difficult to deal with all these changes of tempi, dynamics, sforzandi and so on. Nevertheless, it's a masterpiece and the work done and the future work to do it it's totally worth it.

Juan Carlos Olite You have successfully captured so many interesting and contrasting elements in this piece; from the haunting stillness to the dramatic outburst. You have made me wanting to play it, too ... so another one added to my bucket list ;) Definitely worth continuing and hope to hear more of it from you in the future!

Juan Carlos Olite that's so well played! You do showcase very  nicely the dramatic turns and many beautiful details in the piece. So glad you will keep going with this sonata, and look forward to hearing you play the other movements sometime in the new year!

Natalie Peh Thank you very much, Natalie! The three movements are very special, each one of them with their own atmosphere, you know, the mind of the genius Beethoven.
