Beethoven's Birthday Challenge!
Coming up in November, we celebrate Beethoven's birthday with a 4-week challenge where we all play his music!
Stay tuned for the launch date of November 18th, when you can start sharing your progress and pieces, culminating in a watch party celebration on his birthday: December 17th!
In the meantime, start thinking about what you might like to play and/or learn!

I love Beethoven
. He’s my favourite composer.
During this challenge I want to share my performance of the Variations “God Save The Queen” and I’ll be working in the 5th Piano Concerto (“Emperor Concerto”).

Argghh I just realized that the Watch Party on the 16th is the same day as my office Christmas party, which I'm more or less obliged to attend. It ends at 2PM eastern time and I'll probably be in transit when the Watch Party starts.
Can I submit a recording? My Op. 31 #3 Scherzo is coming back to me nicely but still has a long way to go. But I may be able to clean it up this weekend sufficiently to submit a passable recording.
And will the Watch Party be recorded? I was so much looking forward to hearing my ToneBase friends and colleagues playing these many wonderful pieces!
