Eb challenge

It may not be clear but I put in fingerings for 3rd and 4th fingers in four-note inversions in Eb chord  changes in this awesome RH into to Paul Simon's Bridge Over Troubled Water.  I found this recently and realized that my Eb is seriously lacking.  I stumble hard at Cm to Eb in meas. 3, my 5th finger always trips over F# at meas. 4, and the 1-2-1-1 (or 1-1-1-1 ?) in meas. 5 and 7 is seriously cool.  I spent a good 2 hours on this yesterday and RH finger 4 got an excellent workout.

    Hello,

    Do you mean the F# in m. 2 ? I don’t see an F# in m. 4.

I’m not sure about the exact context of your post but it seems like you are sharing how you overcame a challenge which is great! I might play the m. 5 / 7 inner line you mention as a 2 on the grace note into a 1 rather than a 1 to a 2 but 2-1 or 1-1 or 1-2 are all feasible.

Hello Dustin, I'm thrilled you saw this.  At the end of m.4 there is a 4-5,  F-G.  When I try to make that happen smoothly there's a pesky F# in the way of my 5 finger as I'm holding the the Ab and C with 1 and 2.  Rotating the hand a bit may help.  I did try the 2 on the F# grace note but it's a stretch for me with 4-5 holding Db and Eb.  I'll try that again.
