A Deep Dive into Bach's C minor Prelude and Fugue, BWV 847
In the final week of the Bach C minor Challenge, Dominic Cheli goes live for a deep dive into Bach's Prelude and Fugue in C minor, BWV 847, from Book I of the Well-Tempered Clavier. At the piano, he'll work through the spots that trip people up most and answer your questions!
Bring your questions about the piece, the new Prelude and Fugue in C minor Track, and your own practice. Post them in the challenge thread ahead of time, or ask live in the chat.
Join us live on Tuesday, October 27 at 11am PT.

Question for Dominic or anyone : First bar of prelude is often hit or miss on evenness between hands, but then it settles in as one continues playing. What techniques to use, to get that first bar, perfectly aligned. Visualization? Feeling movement in hands on lap, before playing? Any good techniques please? Thank you

And finally - when you do the webinar, would it be possible to enlarge on how ornamentation could have been introduced into these pieces to make them sound improvisatory, if possible. Thank you.
