Ear training?
Hello all,
I'm new here on trial subscription. I'm unable to find any material for ear training. Are there any courses or practice methods on this topic available on tonebase? If not, do you have any suggestions for ear training?
By ear training, I mean understanding the time and scales pattern of a piece by ear. This should eventually become second nature I guess but for a beginner is really hard.

Hi Arash,
The best ear training courses I have ever come across are those based on the Hungarian Kodály philosophy. You will really learn to train your ear and recognise times/scales etc. I don’t know where you are based but the British Kodály Academy runs online courses from beginner to advanced that are really good but I’m sure there are others, from Hungary as well. I took these classes many years ago and they literally changed my life as a musician and human being.
