We are going to be using this thread to gather suggestions and questions!
- What questions do you have on this topic?
- Any particular area you would like me to focus on?

Hi Jarred! I could play either Chopin’s Nocturne in C minor, opus 48 no. 1 or the first movement of Rach 2 (either front or back half, to keep things within the allotted time).
My challenges are playing everything cleanly consistently — especially the Nocturne’s Doppio Movimento section and some of the fast parts of Rach 2 which can be so awkward, and generally playing with greater dynamic range and contrast throughout,

If there’s still space - my options are:
Bach Prelude and Fugue in A minor, WTC II
Haydn Sonata in C major Hob XVI:50
Liszt Concert Etude No. 3, Un sospiro
With anything I play, I have trouble staying relaxed and thinking about the music instead of myself, so I would greatly appreciate any help with mental preparation.

I just watched the video archive of this lesson and it was very enjoyable - as always. Jarred is an excellent teacher who is knowledgeable, kind and passionate about the music. I appreciate his sensitivity to all performers. Thank you to Monika, Tammy and Yihan for playing! Thank you, Jarred! Thank you, Dominic!
