    some off the cuff questions

     - is none/some/most of dynamic expression on piano supposed to imitate vocal expression?

     - how do you remind yourself to be intentional on expression through dynamics when playing?

     - what are typical pitfalls in this area for advanced vs beginner players?

     - what range of expression is particular to different styles or periods of music?

How can we best balance our dynamics with our fellow musicians when we are playing chamber music?

I'm always worried (and my friends told me last week!) that the piano can overpower them even when I try to not play too loudly.

Thank you Dominic, that was very illuminating.

Picking up on a point you made when looking at the Italian Concerto, is there anything about agogics in the courses or live streams, and if not, would it be possible to include something about it in another live stream? It's a complete mystery to me :)
