    Clara Schumann 4 Fugitive Op. 15 no 1 Larghetto measures 24 to 27.  The polyrhythm, I need help on, please.  Any techniques to help me to get this to flow.  Thank you.  Bernice

    related to Bernice I have the Same question how you effectively approach practicing polyrhythm 2 against 3 and 4 against 3 in General for any Peace.

    currently i practice Brahms intermezzo 118 nr2 and Liszt consolation3

      Since this tricky passages stream is not for a month I thought I'd just share with you how I present it to my students. 2 vs. 3 can be practiced overall as a simple meter rhythm and 3 vs. 4 can be practiced overall as a compound meter rhythm. I have added an image below showing what I mean. Once you get the choreography, you will find it easier to hear them and won't have to count it so carefully. Students are often more successful at getting the timing by looping a simple pattern before applying it to a more complicated collection of pitches. You can even just practice it by tapping it on lap / surface. Great to do while riding the bus!

    Hello Dominic, I am currently struggling with this part of the Moonlight Sonata 3rd Movement. Can you please help with the fingering pattern for the right and the left hand(and practicing strategies)?

    Can you also explain how to get used to a different key(Ex: E Major to A flat major)?
