Important General Information

This TWI will show you how to learn a new Classical Sonata in two weeks! Your learning arc will tighten by mapping assignments, targeted skill-building, and practicing to perform. 

 

For maximum benefit, choose a sonata from the list below that is slightly easier than your technical maximum. This TWI focuses on skills for quick learning: don’t pick something you couldn’t realistically learn given your schedule in a two-week period. By the end of this TWI you should be able to determine exactly how to spend your time when you’re learning a new piece for maximum efficiency of learning.
