This is my favorite symphony by Tchaikovsky! His final: #6. If you don't know it, I HIGHLY encourage you to check it out!

So exciting! Love Tchaikovsky’s music. I am going to use this opportunity to learn his Romance in F Minor, which I already had on my “to learn” list but have never been able to get to.

Happy of facing a new challenge. For a start I am going to play June from the Seasons.

Thank you for this collecting learning experience. I really look forward to it, I'll be attempting June from the seasons.
I love swank lake by Tchaikosky
I also love the song Flags by Coldplay just because it mentions Tchaikovsky

Hi everyone! I’m excited to participate in this challenge. I want to learn both March & June of the seasons, but since others are learning June for this, I’ll use March for variety. ‘Thank you!

Hi everyone! I will pick up a little Waltz in f sharp minor. 🙋♀️

Great timing! I just started learning Op. 39 No. 21 Sweet Dream. This is also my first Tchaikovsky piece. So excited!

I feel sorry for the doll. I'd like to do the Sick Doll and the Funeral ☹️

1. I would like to learn "March" as I've tried to play June a few years ago. I must say that June is still one of my personal favorites. (However, need to practice more: https://youtu.be/-rS4XWg-wtk)
3. My favorite non-piano piece byTchaikovsky: I was going to put Violin Concerto in D Major, which is awesome but then I came to think about this:

Took me a few days to decide, but I'm going to try my hand at October.

Seeing this on the last day of Week 1 - that has to be a sign, right? Let's do it. This challenge would have been the perfect motivation to tackle the Variations in F Op. 19 No. 6 (see Andrei Gavrilov's recording below - one of my favorite performances of Russian piano music ever), but those can't be learned in two weeks. So I'll work on "August" from The Seasons instead. Looking forward to hearing everyone's music!

I'd like to play Children's Album, Op. 39, TH 141 - No. 21, Sweet Dreams

Hello! I fell in love with this little Waltz. Hope you enjoy.

I just had the pleasure of attending a glorious performance of Tchaikovsky's 5th Symphony by the Columbus Symphony Orchestra. How very fitting and apropos! :-) I never can say whether the 4th, the 5th or the 6th is my favorite, but at any rate: tonight's music was amazing.
