Inside the tonebase Manhattan Piano Intensive (2026) Kickoff event!
Join us for a kickoff livestream introducing the tonebase Manhattan Piano Intensive (2026) with Noah Hardaway (Event Lead) and Dominic Cheli!
This session is about setting the tone for what this intensive really is: a focused, artist-led experience designed for pianists who want to think more deeply about sound, structure, and musical intention. We’ll walk through the philosophy behind the program, what daily life during the intensive looks like, and how this environment supports meaningful musical and technical growth!
You’ll hear about the kinds of lessons, classes, and conversations that shape the intensive and why this is suited for everyone!
We’ll also leave plenty of space for questions, whether you’re actively considering applying or just curious about how tonebase approaches in-person piano education.
Come as you are. Listen, ask, and get a feel for whether this experience resonates with you!
Leave any questions you might have before the stream, below!

I so enjoyed this session last year. Will be traveling in March so will have to miss this one. I highly recommend to all that want to give your playing a boost and meet great fellow players.

I am interested in participating in an in-person event. I won't be able for March as I am in my winter semester at university. I hope the Los Angeles or Adamant events will be held this year too.🙏

It's a terrific faculty lineup for this event and I'd love to attend! I do have a few questions here:
1. When will the day-by-day schedule of workshops/clinics/masterclasses be coming out? I know the private lesson schedules will be determined after the sign-up being closed, but it would be nice if we have a peek on the schedule so we know which days are busier and which days are not that busy.
2. Just curious, I saw 4-hands as an element, but wondering if there'll be opportunities for two-piano performances?
3. Lodging cost at NYC is so high compared to other events like LA or Adamant. I just realize this as someone who isn't familiar with NYC in general...... I understand it would be easier for Tonebase to get a bigger and nicer faculty lineup here, but I would appreciate if there'll be discount code for hotels nearby if this venue is something you're having events once every few years.
4. Would there be discounts for Tonebase subscribers / lifetime members?

Can you provide details about the Observer rate? Does it allow you to attend all the sessions? It says $150 which I assume is a daily rate. How would you purchase multiple days?
