Do you start to memorize new repertoire as soon as you start practicing it?

How do you set up a middle term practise plan? lets say for 4-12 weeks planning ahead?
How to choose repertoir ? are you complimenting main practise projects with other pieces/etudes? -
This is very enjoyable! There are so many fascinating aspects that I have taken note of. You are all very thoughtful, and knowledgeable. Heidi's declaration that "We are all singers" is refreshing!
Practicing...being warmed up, stretching, mental preparation, intentionality and the psychological mindset were all highlighted and I deeply appreciate the wisdom.
