The 2025 American Piano Awards: Concerto Finals (Night 1, Rachmaninoff and Prokofiev)
Join us at the Hilbert Circle Theatre for an unforgettable evening as the finalists of the 2025 American Piano Awards perform concerto masterpieces with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of renowned guest conductor JoAnn Falletta. On Night 1, audiences will be treated to electrifying performances of Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3, and Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3. The evening will be emceed by pianist Dominic Cheli and acclaimed soprano and broadcaster Angela Brown.

I would love to find out a little more about the American Piano Awards- what the requirements are for competitors, how many stages does this go through before the finalists are chosen and maybe a little bit about the finalists if possible. How is this different from the Cliburn Competition?
