Hi all, sorry to say that i won't have anything to post for this concert but will be looking forward to hearing all your offerings.  If the samples below are any indication, it's going to be a really wonderful concert, traversing a wide range of abilities and pieces. It is such a joy to have this forum available to all of us.

Gail Starr charity concert and I accompanied some amazing opera singers doing Rogerā€™s and Hammerstein standards.  So much fun!

Peter Golemme so awesome! I got aā€bad reputation ā€œ of being a jazz artist here in Pittsburgh a few years ago because of my improvisation abilities. I would NEVER call myself a jazz guy, but I do enjoy attempting it. Iā€™m trying to get acquainted with this platform this week. Canā€™t wait to check out your playing!!!

Hi, sadly I won't be able to perform this June Recital. I went back to my former teacher and started working other pieces. Hope to be able to make a future community concert.

Hi all! Iā€™m brand new to this amazing community. What can I say, other than Iā€™m a sucker for targeted Facebook Ads.
I love the idea of recitals and challenges to keep me motivated. I am a full-time HS Choral Director In Pennsylvania, run a very active church music program with three vocal choirs and a handbell choir, and am the accompanist for the Pittsburgh Concert Chorale. In all of my free time :-? I love learning new repertoire. My summer challenge is to learn all of the Chopin Nocturnes, so I think Iā€™ll pull from one of them- Iā€™m enchanted by Op. 48, no. 2. Itā€™s either going to be that or a Granados Goyesca. Canā€™t wait to hear you all play!!!

Alexander Weymann I adore it- No. 4, Quejas, O La Maja Y El RuiseƱor, but I just saw your post about length. Itā€™s about 6:30. Maybe Iā€™ll play a short miniature by Dutra, and record the Granados to share. I donā€™t want to take up too much time, especially being brand new to the forum!

    • Bryan Sable oh, please! Don't worry about that. No one will complain about a piece of six and a half minutes' duration, especially not one as beautiful as that one. These concerts do sometimes last 90 or even 120 minutes; it's not an issue, really.

Gail Starr thanks so much! I feel so glad to have found this group. I need a push every once in a while- Iā€™m always making music for work, and never for my own pleasure. This will help me focus on new rep!

Bryan Sable I wasnā€™t even playing solo piano at ALL until I found Tonebase!  (Actually, I literally didnā€™t have free time until Covid, so that was the impetus to actually branch out from only doing chamber music with my friends).
