Hi everyone,
This is my Week 1 - progress update - the opening bars of the Valse - still just finding my feet in terms of tempo (and the notes) ... I find it tricky to stay in tempo with these ones so there will be lots of practice with metronome required before the next update I think!Derek

Hi everyone! After some days of practicing I have to say, I need to change the piece. I can’t possibly finish the Scherzo until end of month. I habe a lot of unfinished pieces. I will finish Chopin Nocturne op 62/2. 🙋♀️

This middle part is not easy. I want to get it in a good tempo and without mistakes in the next 2 weeks. So I can play it for my friends. https://youtu.be/XLCDGqWqs3Q
This challenge is great. Push me forward. Thanks to all participants. 🙋♀️ -
Alexander Weymann Ursina Boehm Gail Starr thank you for your kind words & encouragement. I have been working through this this past week and am already seeing and hearing some things that I never saw/heard the last time I “learned” this. Gail Starr , yes, there is so much imagery in here. I hope I can make that really evident in my playing.
I must admit, as I look at the line up of pieces, WOW! I am so inadequate compared to others. But, I am enjoying this process. It has been a busy summer, and while I played regularly, I was not truly practicing. This has brought me back to some serious practicing. Thank you for this challenge.
