Fabulous, I think i'm leaning towards Ravel's Prelude. Thank you so much for these ideas. It's so exciting to be part of this community.

Thank you so much!🤗

Thank you, Dominic ! All great choices. It’s going to be tough to pick one. 😊

I've been wanting to play some Ravel, so thought I should learn Gaspard de la nuit for this challenge... (Just kidding!!!) But I do want to play some Ravel, and I've been wanting to learn Pavane pour une infante défunte, so that will be nice for this challenge.
Thank you for these suggestions, Dominic! I will have a look at some of them too :)

This is a nice list of suggestions! I will be working on Ravel’s prelude and Debussy’s girl with the flaxen hair.

I'm going to go with Poulenc, Three Novelettes. I've always meant to learn them but somehow have never got round to it and they are really lovely pieces. Very nice choices on the repertoire list as well though. So much to chose from!!!

I will be learning Gabriel Faure’s Romances Sans Paroles Op 17 No 3. Found through a YouTube search of French composers. Reminds me of the style of Mendelssohn’s Songs Without Words.

I've been working on Ravel's Pavane for the last few months, using the fabulous tutorial by Gwendolyn Mok on Tonebase. I've been procrastinating that last 20% that always seems to be the toughest to get. Will use this challenge as a way to get it performance ready.
