I love this piece! I have never learned it to a performance level, but I really enjoy reading through it. Looking forward to the discussion.

One question comes to mind: frequently with big works by a composer there is the suggestion to work on smaller (or prerequisite) pieces to better understand the composer's style of writing. Do you have any suggestions for such prerequisite pieces for Scriabin's Fantasy?

  • Hi Ben Katt  I actually highly recommend taking a look at Scriabin's Op.32 poems. I find them to be a rather great introduction to his compositional style!
