Hi Dominic ! I am working on Mozarts sonata in am K310. Mozart use interestingly often repeated notes as part of the melody. Sara Davis Buechner did suggest creating interest with dynamics in one of her lessons. I agree.
I recently started working on the second movement. This slow middle movement is sort of like a calm breeze between two very dramatic movements. But even this movement is not without dramatic content, and that's the section in question. Measure 43-53. I should mention that there is a crescendo in measure 41 and Forte in measure 42 leading up to this section. The question is: would you play the repeated notes here pretty equal, and bring out the upper octave? Keep it all equal? Or anything else? Staccato, legato, portato? Any technical advice (you can see the suggest fingering in the pdf)?

I watched this after the LIVE stream. It was very interesting and informative! I have a much better understanding of piano technique regarding the repeated notes. You cover a lot of ground: from the mechanical aspects to the psychological aspects. I so appreciate the breadth and depth of your lessons! Thank you, Dominic!
