Ideas for Adult Piano Beginner Repertoire

Dear piano enthusiasts,

 

I am wondering if anyone can recommend some repertoire and etude books for adult piano beginners. (barely fluently reading 5 staves)

I have scale, chords and arpeggio routines, But most method books only offers nursery tunes which is a bit unsettling for both teachers and the students.  

Any ideas would be appreciated!
