    Great topic.  Sometimes my recordings sound great and other times not so much.  I would love to learn why so I can have more control over it.  I primarily record with iPhone and microphone and get pretty good results.   I find it more consistent than using a microphone and DAW.  I used to record with a Zoom Hand held recorder (mine is about 12 years old). Thanks for doing this.
