Ah Schubert! Op. 90, No. 1. It feels like a lot of water has gone under the bridge since I started learning this - and then stopped - shortly before the pandemic began. It’s so nice to get back to it. I worked on the first two pages mostly.
what I’m not happy with: I meant to hold the first chord longer. I meant to be quieter at measure 40, 41.what I am happy with: so happy to be back to this piece. That’s what comes to mind.

I recorded this 1st thing in the morning, just to convince myself I could do better than the ‘performance’ I gave at a dinner party the night before. Nerves made me lose focus and I tripped a few times. After obsessing over Gretchen am Spinnrade for more than a month, I think with this video I’m happy to put it to rest and come back another time to improve especially on the final section.
if I may be permitted, I’d to switch to bringing back Schubert’s Impromptu no 4 A flat major from Wk 2 of challenge.

So there it is. Schubert A-minor Sonate, 1. Movement Exposition after three days of practice. I really need to memorize it to get a chance to find these chords on time. There are many wrong notes in here and I should practice with metronome. But otherwise... (Please imagine a sweating and laughing emoticon here)
