Polyrythm in Chopin Nocturne nr 20 tips?

Hi, I decided I wanted to give Chopin Nocturne nr 20 (KK IVa Nr 16) a go. I use a Henle edition. In bar 21-22 the right hands goes in 3/4 and the left hand is goes in 4/4. I'm struggling on how to play these two bars because the right hand got a quarter note and then 4 1/8 notes. Any tips? Will it work to split the quarter note into 2x 1/8 and count the half bar as 6/4, or will this mess up the rhytme?
