What a great topic of discussion. A few tangetial aspect of dynamic.
1) dynamics in relation to hall acoustic.
do you recommend a overall different dynamic peaks/low when performing at larger hall vs living room?
Would you practice the pieces to the targeted performance setting? (Or always first learn it as it us a big hall then tune it down). It seems easier to tune it down than dialing it up.
And how do you suggest the most effective way of tweaking one tuned for large hall to smaller setting? What are the things to pay attention too?
2) how to deal with ear fatigue when practicing loud sections? Ear plugs and what else?
