Pedal Power: Unlocking Color & Clarity at the Piano

Update:
This stream is being rescheduled! The new livestream time will be: October 9th at 11:00 AM PT
The damper pedal can transform your sound—but it can also blur, cover, or weaken your playing if not used with precision. In this livestream, Dominic will guide you through the art of pedaling: when to use it, how much to use, and how to balance clarity with richness. We’ll explore practical techniques for tricky passages, tips for creating color and atmosphere, and ways to connect pedaling choices to musical expression.
Bring your questions and pieces for a hands-on, interactive session!

My sig other is a pianist as well and we always debate pedaling... For instance, he doesnt think there should be any pedaling in Traumerai. I am currently working Tchaikovsky's June and October... he think there should be less to no pedaling. I disagree. What are your thoughts? Thanks!
