We’ve reached the last week of our Debussy Challenge! Now it’s time to bring everything together. 🎶
📹 Post a video of your piece (or even just part of it) to show your final progress.
✨ Reflect on your journey – what surprised you the most while learning this music, and what are you most proud of?

Hi everyone. This is my progress of Clair de Lune. I have learned more of Debussy’s life, thanks to Dominic.
I’m not over with Clair de Lune, yet I’m glad memorization is making progress. -
Hi all
I beg your indulgence, I submit two Debussy pieces for the challenge
I have worked on these in years past and tried to bring them up to a reasonable performance standard
1. Prelude no 4 from book 1
les sons et parfums…
I love this piece , it’s amazing that Debussy can produce these ‘ethereal’ effects even though the chords are not that unusual, but it’s the way it’s put together
also a great thrill to get to play the bottom note of the piano in the final bars !!!
2. Gollywogs cakewalk, great fun playing this , and I always chuckle when Debussy pokes a bit of fun at Wagner’s Tristan and Isolde in the second part
appreciate any comments!

Well here is la fille aux cheveux de lin. Not totally happy with this-had a hard time making a recording...and had Covid for the last 10 days. Tried playing from memory, even though you see the music on my stand. A few "oops!" :)
