Artist Showcase: "Dedications of the Human Spirit" with Dominic Cheli
In today's artist showcase, Dominic Cheli will guide you through a program entitled "Dedications of the Human Spirit". Many Composers wrote music dedicated to their friends, colleagues, admirers, lovers, and more. We take a look at the music of Schulhoff, H. Leslie Adams, Clara Schumann, Brahms, Beethoven and more, learning about their connections with the special people in their lives!

I loved this LIVE stream today! Thank you! I marvel at your remarks about Schulhoff's piece being a bit like "time travel". Your explanation of how that is so is wonderful!

Speaking of dedications...would it be appropriate for you, Dominic, to have dedicated your transcription of Beethoven's "An die Hoffnung" for solo piano from voice and your two variations on the theme? If so...did you dedicate to anyone? I know. A bit personal, eh? But it is on topic, yes? :D

Also, it was so nice to see the collaborative efforts of your Tb team. While you were performing, someone was watching the chat and responding. I know you, too, were watching the chat and responding verbally. Teamwork!
