Sorry to miss the watch party this week but congratulations to everyone who participated in the challenge, I enjoyed all the videos!

Hi Dominic, Could you perhaps talk about other fun pieces by Beethoven that we might enjoy practicing on our own? I’ve poked around a bit and came up with two, both Kissin encores: Rage over a lost penny and Turkish March, arranged by Rubinstein. Please no Bagatelles for me…. Thanks!

I can’t make it live tomorrow, but will watch afterwards! Congratulations to everyone! Learning a lot from this, and hearing everyone’s version.
I like the suggestion from Monika on tips for other fun Beethoven pieces :)

Because of work I will have to watch the Watch Party after the LIVE event. I look forward to it! Thank you to everyone who submitted their work!

Probably too late to submit this; not good at memorising new pieces at my age (82) and hopeless with recording (which gives me nerves) and posting on computer, but here goes. Now that lockdown is finally over I hope to get some technical help before next time,

Thanks Sindre and Gail
I was disappointed but not surprised: I am not computer illiterate but somehow recording/Zoom etc evades me in terms of success, yet I was able to do Skype chats live from overseas 15 years ago!
I recorded using a Rode microphone plugged into an old Apple ipad using the Dolby On App, then transferred that, after checking, to “photos” as a video, Played it back and seemed OK although not happy with sound (too brilliant) and my performance. now I see you only got a still photo. Sincere apologies!
Now that our lockdown is over after 4 months I can prevail on my good pianist friend who is an IT professional to help me over next couple of weekends; he lives an hour’s drive from me.
all the best, inspired practice and here’s to great music!
