I wonder if you can demonstrate and explain how to touch the piano keys  to produce these beautiful sound when you play this piece. ( for both hands)

I wonder the sound balance between right hand and left hand.
    appreciate it

Regarding the lack of performances of Satie, this year Hélène Grimaud’s recital included 4 Satie pieces at SF Symphony: https://www.sfsymphony.org/Buy-Tickets/2021-22/Helene-Grimaud

Can someone clarify why most editions have the initial chords split across two clefs?

Geoffrey Grosenbach Interesting discussion at the end about ambient music and other styles of music that were influenced by this piece.

A commenter mentioned Dawn Chorus by Thom Yorke of Radiohead. This cover by Jon Hopkins seems more similar to me: https://songwhip.com/jon-hopkins/dawn-chorus

Another question was about electronic music. I've listened to this piece for the last 15 years which starts into the melody at about the 1:00 mark. https://americanbaconrecordings.bandcamp.com/track/gymnopedie-no-1
