Tchaikovsky for us pianists is a present companion from the very first years as students with his unforgettable "Album for the Youth". It is only now that I'm realising that he wrote these lovely pieces "on Schumman". He is present in such a way in the symphonic field with his wonderful concertos, overtures, symphonies and music for ballet. Among classical music lovers, who cannot hum joyfully one or more tunes from "Nutcracker", for instance. I'm a great fan and admirer of his "Pathetique" Symphony and all the ballets. But, apart from the Album for the Youth, I haven't played any Tchaikovsky piano piece. But I will share something to celebrate Tchaikovsky's birthday.
This isn't a strict conservatoire, we are allowed to be creative, I hope!
