I've gotten through the first 2 pages of K545 2nd movement. Please excuse the wrong note in the wrong place. 🙄 At least I got it right the second time I played the phrase. 😅

    Next I'll tackle page 3.

Randi Great clarity and articulation! I like how economical your movements are - something I need to work on.

Here’s my week 3 post. A bunch of neighbor notes, some missed “musical moments”, and played a bit too fast. Much to work on but I have the general feel for the piece.

Vidhya Bashyam Love the dreamy singing RH over the floating LH ... it's coming along very well :)

Vidhya Bashyam Agree with Priya - lovely murmuring LH and phrasing/voicing of the RH!

Vidhya Bashyam really beautiful job and Priya used the word “dreamy” in her comment and that was exactly the feeling I got when listening as well, or something like a Monet impressionist painting.  I saw you mentioned speed and even though I’m not sure what the speed is supposed to be on this it didn’t seem too fast to me.  I have recently discovered that recording your playing and then listening back is so beneficial in so many ways including with speed.  I sometimes think I play something too fast so I record and listen back only to find that when I hear it it actually sounds too slow (not at all how I felt when I played it!).  So bravo!

Andrea LeVan Thanks Andrea! The dreamy quality is what attracted me to this piece. I agree with you on recording- it helps so much

Vidhya Bashyam This is so lovely, Vidhya! I love the warmth with which you play, and your attention to phrasing really lets it shine.

Vidhya Bashyam Beautiful playing, Vidhya! With that floating left hand it feels like that right hand just sing freely, sort of like an improvisation. Just coming and going, breathing and talking. Nicely done!

Vidhya Bashyam Everyone's comments are spot on!  Your relaxed, dreamy left hand supports the graceful expansion of the melody and harmonic complexity without ever losing the barcarolle flavor you impart to the piece.  Great job!
