Bjarne's practice diary
Hi, I've been reworking my practice diary for a fresh start. Since i picked up piano again (early 2020), I have never been performing infront of others. I want to change that, so last month I decided to try and learn a piano-recital which I want to perform closer to Christmas for family, (at this season of life I don't have as much piano-practice time as I would like so I didn't want to have a short time to learn the program.
My program is:
- Bach - BWV 847 (prelude and Fugue)
- Beethoven - opus 14 no 2, 1. mvt (definitly a big stretch piece, but I do enjoy trying to learn this piece)
- Debussy - The girl with the flaxen hair
- Chopin nocturne nr 20 in C# minor, (semi-learned this last year, choose this piece to be able to play the full piece)
- Chopin Waltz op 69 no 2 in B minor
My plan for May and June is to focus mainly on Bach and Beethoven and if I got time to spare, start on Debussy. I'm going to make a new plan after June when I know the progress on Bach and Beethoven.

Here is my Träumeri attempt. Been working on this without a teacher. Not sure yet if I'm going to bring this piece to my new teacher or start on a fresh start with my former teacher and start a new piece
