I`m interested but I will be away from piano during the Shubert Challenge. I would like to follow the link to listen to recordings.

My local piano immersion runs from July 5-13, but I’m going to enter the challenge anyway as it’s too good an opportunity to miss! Schubert, Sonata, G Major, D.894, 1st movement.

Hi everyone! Long time, no see on my end…the school year has really beaten me up! (Partner teacher was on paternity leave for three months in spring- our busiest time!) I’d love to join this challenge. I’m thinking I may start the B Flat Sonata for a real push.

Thurmond and I will each be playing something individually (I'll play one of the dances, and he will work on number two of the Drei Klavierstucke). But we thought we might also work on a 4-hands piece together, the Landler D366/3 as arranged by Johannes Brahms. I found several of these nice 4-hands pieces in a little book entitled "Mein Erster Schubert."

Vidhya Bashyam Thanks! The 4-hands piece is pretty simple, but it's the first time playing with another person for both of us (I don't think our rendition of chopsticks counts!).
