Sign me up! I'll probably play the Clementi op 36 no 1 Sonatina in C major, hopefully all 3 movements.

Update: I won't be able to play live. I re-injured my finger (not piano-related but work-related) and am not able to play. 😢

Here's the Bach I've been working on and recorded last week.

Update: I injured my LH 5th finger a couple of weeks ago, and it's not quite ready to play the Clementi so I'll probably play something else since I haven't practiced the piece much lately. I'll update my chosen piece closer to the date, or will submit a recording if that seems a better option.

Gail Starr Thanks, Gail. It's getting better, slowly. It got stuck and twisted when I was moving something - so it's sprained. 😪

Vidhya Bashyam Thanks, Vidhya. It's been improving everyday - and playing helps it to feel better as long as I'm careful in what I play.

Peter Golemme Thanks, Peter. I'm glad I had made this recording before spraining my finger. I'm hoping the finger will heal quickly, but nearly a week on and it's still swollen and super tender. So, I guess I'll work more on other things musical. I'll post more Cantus Firmus work later today, I think.

  • I’ll tentatively sign up and post my piece a little later. I’ve been away from the piano for a bit because of work and travel so I’ll see what I can resurrect in time 😉

Michelle R I can't play because I'm going to Montreal with some of our lovely TB besties!  We're going to have a "girl's weekend" trip with yummy bagels and private lessons and a group masterclass with Jarred Dunn at his studio.  We're so excited!

Kakie Roberts We're all quite excited!  It's so much fun to mix vacations and music.

Last year we met in DC to attend a concert by Chris O'Riley at the Kennedy Center.
