Dear Tonebase Family,
Monika and I met during one of Dominic's excellent LiveStreams back in October. After becoming friends over Zoom, we came up with the idea of trying a 4-hand piece, even though we live 5,000 miles apart.
At first, we tried to record both parts over Zoom, but we realized that the tiny time lag (Monika is in France and I'm in Florida) made our recording sound REALLY funny...and we were laughing too much to even hear our pianos.
So, after consulting both Martin & Dominic, we decided to record the Primo first (Monika) and I (Gail) would record Secondo on top of it. After a quick visit to iMovie to create a split screen, we offer you the first efforts of the Tonebase-inspired "Franco-American Duo".

Dominic Cheli Thank you for your enthusiasm for our little project. I've made the most wonderful new friends through Tonebase!
We're now thinking that we might try the Mozart 3-piano concerto with Sindre, when we all have a bit more time in the summer.
Need to find the orchestral part in an .mp3 that I can download and tinker with to remove the piano tracks, though... have you ever done anything like that?
Or maybe just someone kind enough to play the tutti on a 4th piano?

Hello everyone!
I'd like to show you the short version (Arr. Saradjian) of the Christmas Oratorio (X. Sinfonia) of my beloved J. S. Bach. With it I wish you a very Happy Holidays for all Tonebase pianists. I will always remember this year for my discovery of Tonebase and my fellows of the community challenges.
